Young Adult Transition Programs

These programs are targeted for young adults ages 18-25 and are designed to assist students who have faced challenges maturing transition successfully into adulthood. They provide a range of clinical services and oftentimes involve both traditional therapy and coaching/mentoring.

They provide a group living experience in either a home or apartment setting and are located in communities with ample opportunities for internships, volunteering, vocational training, GED completion or college. Some are specialized in offering a sober living environment. Additionally, they focus on independent living skills such as managing a schedule, budgeting, maintaining a healthy diet and housekeeping. Most offer a “step down” program with a menu of support options as the student progresses in the program.
